Buildakit have invested heavily in state of the art CNC and automated machinery ensuring precision manufacturing leaving less margin for error from onsite trades.

Speedy Construction

Timber frame unlike brick and block homes, allow you to start construction off-site, helping to speed up the process and helping you retain that competitive advantage. The timber frame panels are rapidly erected on site and, with a roof structure formed from trussed rafters (dependent on design) a weather-proof building can be created in just 3-4 days.  This enables work to continue in sheltered conditions within the building whilst the outer cladding and roof finishes are applied.  This not only saves time but also allows decoration to be carried out soon after completion of the construction without risk of cracking and deterioration of finishes. On site labour costs will be dramatically reduced as there’s less requirement of wet trades, who are often in short supply, and create a lot of mess on a building site. The long drying out period associated with ‘wet’ construction is reduced considerably.
