The panel is excellent value for money and provides superior levels of indoor comfort. 240mm mineral wool friction fit between the frame provides excellent thermal insulation and achieves a U-value of 0.15 W/m2K capable of surpassing building regulations without the use of renewable technology. The density and vapour open properties of the mineral wool insulation help control indoor temperatures and reduce the likely hood of summer overheating.

The horizontal batten layer significantly reduces repeating thermal bridge and an insulation lining to window openings reduces linear thermal bridge and achieves excellent psi values. The mineral wool insulation reduces exterior noise creating a quiet and comfortable indoor environment. The panel is supplied in lengths of up to 6m and also benefits from a lapped panel junction detail making on site fixing easy and improving airtightness. Panel junctions on this panel also allow for taping enabling you to easily achieve air-tightness levels required for Passivhaus construction. This panel can be further enhanced by replacing the OSB layer with a panel vent board and replacing the VCL with an intelligent VCL creating a breathable external envelope.
