Puppet Chalet, Todmorden - September 2026.
Exciting new puppet workshop being constructed for Thingumajig Theatre. After months of planning we delivered and assembled the walls and roof complete with insulation in four days. Can’t wait to see the interactive giant walkabout puppets being made in their new eco workshop.
Whitby Avenue, York - July 2026
Precision delivery – Buildakit can get into even the tightest of sites with our timber frame deliveries. This new timber frame delivery to Whitby Avenue – York had inches to spare between the lorry and house which made access a challenge. With careful planning and a skilled office and site team the precision delivery shows just how skilled the Buildakit team really are.
Hollingwood Rise Ilkley - July 2026
A highly insulated home office was installed alongside a stunning new timber frame home for Dobson Construction Ltd in Ilkley. Due to limited space on site, a spider crane was used instead of the usual mobile crane. By raising the main home and the workspace at the same time Buildakit’s installation team were able to have the two structures complete within a week. Benefit from speedy construction by choosing to build in timber frame.

Marylebone Farm, West Bradford - March 2026
Built off-site, this 3 bed bungalow was installed in 4 days. Featuring vaulted ceilings and a cantilevered roof over the front entrance. Working closely with our experienced site team was key to the installation of this complex design. Beams were precision cut and processed in the factory allowing for a streamline installation process.

Marple Dental Practice - Marple Feb 2026
This complete first floor extension was built while the dental practice remained open and running and this continued throughout the entire works.
The super complex roof structure with intricate valleys and different roof pitches were precision cut on our CNC saws ensuring all the components fit together perfectly.
A challenging site on a main road contributed to access issues and the only available space on the site was to store the crane. Partial road closures were planned, and extremely well-arranged logistics were factored into this difficult installation.

Phase 1 of this exclusive development of 8 new low energy timber frame homes has been completed in 8 days. Phase 2 to follow on in 2026. These high spec homes have been constructed offsite in our state-of-the-art factory, reducing build times and saving onsite costs.

New to Self-Build this couple embraced timber frame construction and were eager to explore low energy construction. Using Buildakits’ I-beam panel they could easily exceed building regs. Incorporating a balcony and exposed glulam shows how flexible building in timber frame can be.

The roof structure on this 3 bed home is supported on exposed oak beams – some of which were machined on our Hundeggar Saw. These were to tie in with the clients exposed oak features throughout the house. We supplied an I-Beam External wall and roof cassette system for superior thermal insulation and air tightness qualities.
