Due to the stunning design of this home and its unique location in Leeds Buildakit’s timber frame kit was featured in episode one of BBC2’s “House that 100k built”.
The floors were supplied for speed of construction in pre-insulated cassettes and the roof was constructed using pre-insulated Ibeams. This achieved a U-value of 0.16W/m2k.
A quality vapour control was installed during the prefabrication of the frames to ensure airtight construction.
