With an aging population and an increase in demand Moorland Homes are building an extension to the Thorncliffe Nursing Home in Darwen.
The proposed development seeks to erect a two/three storey side extension to the existing care home.
The extension will feature an additional 16 bedrooms, each complete with a wet room, as well as a laundry room, a storage area, and two communal lounges for the residents.
